Software Engineer 

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. 

This position reports to the Director of Engineering. In this role, the engineer will be part of a small development team and must be able to work independently, show strong initiative, troubleshoot technical problems and rapidly move from design to execution on projects.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing and maintaining cross platform installations, as well as enhancing and developing client applications.

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will have a BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years related engineering experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Windows environments and Unix environments – Solaris and AIX. Linux experience is a plus. The candidate must have a working knowledge of Java. Knowledge of C, C++, Perl, HTML, XSL, AJAX, JavaScript, Visual C++, MFC, Win32 and COM programming are highly desirable Install Shield and Install Anywhere experience is preferred. A proven track record of meeting deadlines, team interaction and strong analytical and oral/written communication skills are a must. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is an integral part of being successful in this position.
